Greetings and Salutations, Cap ‘N’ Corkers! Let’s just dive right in and start with the news…
By now, we’re sure many of you have heard, Cap ‘N’ Cork is moving! That’s right, we are high-tailing it out of our little shop in The Country Meadows plaza on the Southeast corner of 21 Mile & Garfield into a much larger facility….in The Country Meadows plaza on the Southeast corner of 21 Mile and Garfield.
The new place, which is located between The Hub and the dance studio, is currently in the remodeling phase so we can create the ultimate in Homebrew Supply shops. When all is said and done we will have a much larger store equipped with a second floor classroom. That’s right! A classroom!
We expect to be moved in the first week of April and plan on having a big ole’ shindig to coincide with National Homebrew Day on May 4th. But we’re getting a little ahead of ourselves.
Also, Chris White from White Labs will be popping in to give a seminar on yeast as well as sign his book. This will take place on May 2nd in the aforementioned classroom. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for more details.
Enough about what you can expect in the future, let’s talk about what you can have right now!
March is here and that mean college hoops, St Patty’s day and even Easter, and nothing goes better with sports, celebration and family than some tasty libations.
For the month of March, we have some excellent options for you all. Let us start with our Wine and Beer kits of the month.
For you red wine lovers we have the World Vineyard Chilean Merlot. This powerfully fruity and spicy flavored red will satisfy your palate when served with a nice hearty meal. Careful not to rush this one as it gets better with age.
As for the beer kit of the month we have none other than the English Pub Ale. Lower on alcohol but big on flavor this ordinary bitter is a wonderfully well-balanced session beer that can be enjoyed again and again…and again.
As always, the two Kits of the Month are 15% off so stop by and cash in on this amazing deal!
NEW SEASONAL KITS!!!
We also have some seasonal kits that are sure to make you do back flips. Having its 2013 debut today is the fan favorite, Midsummer Night Wheat! This refreshing American Wheat is so good, even the Medieval King Oberon would rejoice with splendor.
Our other seasonal brew that is making waves is our Noble Pale. All the noble hops of Germany have teamed up to create this… American IPA? That’s what we said. It knows what it is and doesn’t care.
The window of opportunity to pick up these fantastic kits is limited so be sure to drop in before they are sold out!
One last thing before we wrap this up…
Be sure to pick up your copy of the Michigan Beer Guide and flip to page 18 to see an awesome article up us. Or download the article written by Rex Halfpenny right here: Michigan Beer Review
We can’t wait to share with you the rest of our plans, but all in good time! Stop by and see us, pick up a kit or just tell us about a great beer you recently tried! Until then, we raise our goblets to you all!
Prost, cheers & drink up me friends!
