It’s that time again, we are hosting the Cap N Cork Cook-Off, which will be part of our annual National Learn to Brew Day Festivities on Saturday, November 5! We have found that homebrewers are great cooks as well and thought it would be a great idea to tap this wonderful resource to make National Homebrew Day that much better.
The Cook-Off is a free event, though we do ask you to sign up in advance. You simply need to cook up two of your best beer inspired dishes. We ask that you do one of the following combos: Appetizer and Entree or Entree and Dessert. You need to have your food ready to go by 12:00 at Cap N Cork. Each entrant will then present their dishes to the judges, explaining the dish and the methods in which you prepared it (pretend you are on the Food Network).
You can enter the Cap N Cork Cook-Off solo or as a team. The winners will be selected that day and announced as soon as our celebrity judges choose the best dishes. Winners will receive gift certificates to CNC and will have their picture on our brand new wall of fame!
Our celebrity judges will be Isaiah Sonjeow owner of Khom Fai:Thai Dining Experience and Ted Ross of Kendall Jackson Wineries.
