More Than Meets The Rye$31.504.4% ABV SG 1045 FG 1012 SRM 10 IBU 39
A Cap N Cork take on a classic Roggenbier which features the standard rye spiciness accompanied with some good old American citrusy hop hits. Try White Labs 008 to accentuate the hops, Wyeast 3056 to a banana/clove compliment or the included US-05 for a clean dry brew. All three yeasts make distinctly different, yet tasty ales.
Big Ben Bitter $33.00

A true session beer that is nothing but balanced and classic, big on flavor low on alcohol. Nice to have around when you are looking to have three or four but don’t want to get silly. Try WLP 002 to create a true English Bitter.

It’s all the rage, the newest and coolest hop on the block – Citra! This pale ale is a gorgeous blonde with perfect hop balance. This amber ale is malty sweet, with a hint of caramel, use Wyeast 2206 to lager it and you have a authentic German Oktoberfest on your hands. Other yeast options include Saflager 34/70 (for lagering) or Wyeast 2124 at ale temperatures, for lager-like characteristics.

It’s a double IPA with the newest hops available here at Cap N Cork. Chocked full of American hops that contribute citrus, pine, earthy and herbal character to this complex brew. The New Deal is a complicated IPA for a simple brewer.

St. Andrew’s 80 Shilling $35.75 5 % ABV SG 1053 17 SRM FG 1015 20 IBU
This deep amber ale is rich and malty with a hint of caramel notes (thanks to the 90 minute boil) as well as a touch of smoke. A session beer with a bit of a kick and a classic example of a Scottish Export Ale this side of the pond. Try Wyeast 1728, a true Scottish liquid yeast to make the bagpipes hum!

Rooftop Oatmeal Stout

Straight out of Bavaria, it’s the Hefeweizen! A German wheat beer that is light in color, full in body and chocked full of banana and clove esters. Don’t have the patience to give your brew the time it needs? Hefe is best when consumed young, so rush this one along and drink it in no time! Just plain need the most banana/clove aromatics? Use Wyeast 3068 to complete the hefe aroma.
The Belgian brews: Windy Blond $33.506.4 % ABV SG 1065 9 SRM FG 1017 22 IBU
A sweet easy-drinking ale oozing with Belgian character. Wyeast 1214 is a must to truly bring out the spiciness, sweetness and esters of the style. For something different try adding 1 oz of Juniper Berries to the steep and 2 g of Grains of Paradise the last 15 minutes of the boil to make a unique spiced Belgian.

This dark amber Belgian with malt complexity and nice toasty notes and a hint of caramel is liquid goodness that is a bit of trouble if you have a few. Weighing in at almost 7% ABV this classic trappist ale needs some age to balance it out. Try Wyeast 3787 to make it a true trappist dubbel. Triple Trouble $57.508.6 % ABV SG 1088 6 SRM FG 1022 18 IBU
Light in color, high in alcohol, low in hops and through the roof in taste! This big triple is exactly as it sounds- Trouble (with a capital T) but trouble never tasted so good. Spicy, peppery and malty and strong in Belgian character this brew may require final absolution before consuming it. Use a starter of Wyeast 1214 to increase the Belgian character. The Seasonals: A Midsummer’s Night Wheat$40.504.9% ABV SG 1051 FG1013 6 SRM 20 IBU
A beautiful American wheat that would even make Oberon king of the Faeries thirsty. Packed with Saaz giving it a pleasant hoppy, earthy, spicy characteristics with a touch herbal notes. Try it with Wyeast 1010 to make it a truly crisp summer beer. Available April-September.
